Juliet Aigbe (Chef Juls) is founder of Bourffe Bakeries Ltd. Owner of three brands: Cakeflair, Bourffe Bistro and Chef Juls Africa . Juliet’s command of knowledge in recipe creation, food business development and commercial food processing, has enabled her to solve three problems in the confectionery sector. 1. Design Innovation. 2. Food Safety and 3. Market Connectivity. She’s an award-winning high-art sugarcrafter, nutripreneur, recipe-creator, wholesome food advocate and reformer-entrepreneur who believes baking business can be wholesome, systemized to run on auto pilot and sustainably scaled. She runs a bakery, a packaged food processing factory and a sugarcraft skill club for teenagers in Greensprings School Lagos. She featured regularly as a Lagos TV baker on TVC’s Wake Up Nigeria Breakfast Show.She is a Goldman Sachs 10,000 women scholar and listed by Bank & Entrepreneur Africa as one of Nigeria SME 100 Female Entrepreneurs making a difference in their sector. Her design innovation led her to create Nigeria’s first indigenous, additives-free, NAFDAC-certified cakemixes.

Juliet Aigbe is current Eko Chocolate Chef Challenge winner, whose objective is to make Nigerian chocolate a global phenomenon. She’s winner of Niara Africa Business Pitch Competition 2019, one of top three winners at the Standard Chartered Bank’s Dragon’s Den. She won entrepreneur of the year award by Candy Factory and won it again by NaijaTopBaker both in 2020. Her Nutrisap Cakemix product also made it as one of top three winning products at the Nourish Nigeria Challenge -Nutripitch 2019. This unique cakemix replaces table sugar which has a glycemic index of whooping 65 with her innovative dried coconut nectar which has a glycemic index of 35 suitable for diabetics. They also have a gluten-free variant for those that are intolerant to wheat-based products. .Beyond her Cakemixes already selling in leading formal retail outlets across Nigeria, she recentlyintroduced her latest product – Chef Juls Pancake mix in the market. She has put her skin in the game and grown from a $100.00 pastime to a $250,000.00confectionery business. She’s working towards scaling into continental frontiers. Juliet, a graduate of the University of Lagos, with a bachelors in Biology and a post-graduate diploma in Computer Science, she also attended the prestigious French Pastry School, Chicago Illinois, and Lagos Business School EDC program on entrepreneurship.She has created a paradigm shift from traditional baking methods to efficient, scalable and easy DIY baking processes. She currently helps entrepreneurs in the food sector organise, systemise and articulate their businesses, making them investor-ready. She’s passionate about food business and eager to make a difference.
