The Family in Business group is a community for people in family-owned businesses; this could be spouses, siblings, parents with their children, or extended family. The purpose of the community group is to provide a safe environment where families can learn new ideas to help grow their business, share experiences that are unique to family-owned businesses and experience the joy in fellowship with people along similar paths.
Jika Nwobi is a co-founder at Bliss Group and CEO of Babybliss Nigeria. She is passionate about the use of technology to solve problems for pregnant women and mothers across the African continent. After spending a decade overseeing project management, supply chain management and operations management. Jika has built a reputation for developing operational strategies and building successful supplier relationships, while ensuring flexibility in response to an increasingly demanding market. She has nearly 10 years of business leadership and operations experience.
Her previous positions include Chief Operating Officer for Housessories, where she successfully led various projects in furniture design and manufacturing and worked with brands like PZ Cussons, Unilever and Google. Prior to joining the Housessories team, Jika worked in Brand management at an Ogilvy affiliate, 141-worldwide. She worked with the team responsible for executing marketing initiatives for multiple brands such as Cadbury and Multichoice.
She started her career as an accountant at Deloitte; where she actively took part in annual audits for companies in multiple industries. Jika has a B.Sc. in Accounting from Kennesaw State University. She was selected as one of 32 high-potential African business leaders of fast-growing companies to participate in Stanford University’s SEED transformation program.
