Work & Study
At Work and Study Group, we use a number of tools and resources to help members build and strengthen the capacity to achieve their academic pursuits without hampering their professional goals. In addition to acquiring positive behavioral changes to improve their work and study, members will also be able to team up with other members as accountability buddies in order to hasten the development of various soft skills. This semester, the broad themes are Examination Groundwork, Career Visibility and Networking. It is another semester for our members to become more energized, fired-up and creative.
Nse Wilfred-Whesu
Community Governor

Nse is a seasoned finance professional with over 12 years of Banking and Accounting experience.
She has worked in various roles in Banking Operations and as an Accountant and is currently an Accountant with The Covenant Nation.

Nse is a first class graduate of Accounting and a Masters in Finance. She also is a member of ACCA Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, CPA Ontario (Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario), and is a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Level 2 Candidate.

Nse is also the Lead Tutor of UK Tax in TNSS (The New Synergy Specialist) an ACCA tuition provider which led to her being nominated by ACCA Nigeria as a Best Advocate in a Student Environment. She is also a tutor with Numero Index a CFA learning provider.

During her spare time, she is involved in volunteering and has volunteered for Project WRAP, Lagos Sees, and is currently the Secretary of the Covenant Community Groups.

Dr. Olumide Onafeso
Community Governor

Olumide Onafeso specializes in Climate Change Hydrology and Paleoclimatology. He joined the Department of Geography at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Nigeria in 2007 where he has served as Head since 2018. His key research interests are Satellite Climatology; Climate Change Modelling and Impact Assessments, particularly on the Hydrology and Water Resources of the Tropical Low Latitudes; and alternative energy. His major skills include data mining/programming, web-based geo-distribution forecasting, Geographical Information System (GIS) Mapping, geospatial applications, remote sensing and statistical analysis. He has been involved in several Environmental Impact Assessment studies, Ecological Surveys, and Climate Change Investigations in Nigeria. In 2009, Dr Onafeso was involved in the collaboration project between the Federal Ministry of Environment and United Nations Development Programme to establish Flood Early Warning System (FEWS) in Nigeria. In 2012, he was also appointed consultant on the Development of Drought Early Warning System in Nigeria. He was part of the team of scientists involved in the Hydrogeological Study and Test Well Drilling in Voinjama, Lofa County, Liberia in 2013. Olumide is heavily involved with drought monitoring, assessment and prediction committees at state, regional and national levels. Dr Onafeso received a Bachelors Degree in Geography and Regional Planning from the Ogun State University, and his Masters and Doctoral Degrees in Geography specializing in Climatology and Hydrology from the University of Ibadan, in Nigeria.

Masters and PhD in Nigerian and foreign universities.
